Welcome to Studio9 Upholstery 

Hello, I’m Gwyneth Stewart a skilled, passionate and imaginative upholsterer and hand-stitched lampshade maker based in Dundee, Scotland.

Over the past five years, I’ve trained online with internationally renowned upholsterer Anthony Devine (@anthonydevine.online). Combining a keen eye for detail with creative flair, I specialise in reviving cherished furniture and crafting bespoke contemporary pieces that reflect your personal style and elevate your home.

Alongside upholstery, I’m also a self-taught lampshade artisan, focusing on the traditional craft of hand-stitched lampshades. My passion for sharing this heritage skill led me to create a unique Make-at-Home Carousel Lampshade Kit and Online Video Tutorial; a complete, beginner-friendly guide to crafting your own stunning lampshades.
