Join Studio9 for a hands-on Upholstery Experience where, under the expert guidance of Gwyneth, you'll be taken step-by-step through the process of transforming a bare frame into a stylish and functional piece.

This workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike. All materials and tools are provided, so you can focus on learning and creating. Limited to just 6 people to maximise the tuition support.

You're welcome to bring your own fabric, or choose from a curated selection available to purchase on the day. Whether you prefer timeless neutrals or bold statement designs, you'll create something truly unique. Upon booking we will send a booking confirmation which will contain links to fabric houses you might like to consider getting your fabric from.

This relaxed and creative full day workshop is a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill, meet like-minded people and leave with a beautiful, handcrafted footstool you'll be proud to use and show off.

Fabric Requirement: 1 metre

Suitable Fabrics: upholstery weight cotton, linen blend, wool or velvet

Frame: solid wood frame

Finished Measurements: Depth: 46cm | Length: 59cm | Height: 24m (includes legs)

Please Note the legs in the example footstool have been painted. The legs supplied at the workshop will be unfinished giving you the opportunity to paint or wax them as you wish in your own time.

WORKSHOP BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By booking a workshop with Studio9 Upholstery, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making your booking.

1. Workshop Bookings

Your place on a Studio9 Upholstery workshop is confirmed once full payment has been received and you have received confirmation of your booking.

Workshop places are limited and your place cannot be guaranteed until payment has been made.

2. Your Right to Cancel

Studio9 Upholstery workshops are leisure activities provided on a specific date. As such, the statutory 14-day cooling-off period that applies to some online purchases may not apply to workshop bookings for a specific date.

Your booking is therefore subject to the cancellation and transfer terms set out below. This does not affect your statutory rights.

3. Cancellations by You

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact Studio9 Upholstery as soon as possible by email at info@studio9upholstery.co.uk.

If you cancel:

• More than 7 days before the workshop: you may request a refund or transfer your booking to another available workshop date.
• Between 48 hours and 7 days before the workshop: your booking may be transferred to another available workshop date, but a refund will not normally be provided.
• Less than 48 hours before the workshop, or if you do not attend: no refund or transfer will normally be provided.

Where Studio9 Upholstery is able to fill your cancelled place, a refund may be offered at our discretion.

Any cancellation charge or amount retained will be reasonable and will reflect the circumstances of the cancellation and any losses or costs incurred by Studio9 Upholstery.

4. Transfers

Where a transfer is permitted, it is subject to availability and must be arranged by emailing info@studio9upholstery.co.uk.

Unless otherwise agreed, a booking may be transferred once to another available workshop date.
